CONCENTRATION  REQUIREMENTS
Sixteen or more credits of course work in non-grammar
courses that have a non-United States focus, with no more
than two courses at the 100 level. Appropriate areas of study
are the education, geography, history, literature, political
science, sociology and other aspects of countries and cultures
other than the United States. No more than nine of these may
be in any one discipline. See your advisor for a list of eligible

FOREIGN  LANGUAGE  REQUIREMENT
Second-year competency level in a foreign language. This
competency can be achieved by taking college courses or by
a combination of college course work and other experiences.
The competency level achieved from outside experiences will
